Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that leads you to experience a state of temporarily altered consciousness, distinct from a sleep state. A hypnotic state - or hypnotic trance - is a natural and spontaneous state that you might experience almost every day, as when you are daydreaming or looking at a landscape quietly for a long time, or when you temporarily lose track of time while driving your car.
Everyone has a natural ability to respond to hypnosis and to a positive, direct or indirect verbal suggestion.
Hypnosis is a safe therapeutic technique to access unconscious contents and release emotional blockages. It can unveil other meanings for the symptoms and allow the resignification - the psychic reorganisation - of the experienced trauma.
